I need help, my child doesn’t want to go to school
I need help.
My child doesn’t want to go to school.Parent: My oldest son…I used to have to literally drag him into the school for him to stay there.
I was nearly crying every day, because I had to send him to school.
We’ve come a long way. He has now got an apprenticeship and… he is doing really well.
Principal: From talking with parents… they wish that we could understand how hard parenting is today. And when you have a child that doesn’t want to do something, that is so incredibly hard.
Every single child needs to have an education, especially in today’s world. If they don’t, then they don’t have the same opportunities as their peers.
Think of the positive stuff about school. Go to class and just try the work…
So you can get a good job when you’re older.
When parents are vulnerable… it’s often because they don’t know what to do.
And when that starts a conversation it’s actually generally really productive.
Ring us, ring the school and we’ll get to who you need to talk to.
